Kohakutou

Kohakutou

Crunchyroll → Jellyfin grabber for Unraid. *arr-style WebUI with a Crunchyroll orange accent.

Kohakutou (琥珀糖) is Japanese amber candy: crunchy outside, jelly inside.

Status (release candidate)

Kohakutou is a working Unraid container:

  • Embedded Chromium + noVNC Browser tab; etp_rt captured from login
  • Watchlist poller (LiveChart + Crunchyroll feeds) writes inbox + download queue
  • Go crunchyroll-downloader with Widevine keys, dual audio, subtitle merge
  • ffmpeg remux on the host/image binary (not a noexec /ffmpeg mount)
  • Seerr / Sonarr / Jellyfin / Bazarr / Jikan integrations
  • Jellyfin resync then one-time Crunchyroll series-page seed (watch URLs + season labels)
  • Watchlist Queue series: Missing / higher quality (Resolution > Dub or Dub > Resolution) or Replace All
  • Browser watch-click prompts overwrite when the episode is already on disk
  • Schema 1 series catalog (catalog.json), admit/overwrite, mapping probe (see docs/CACHE.md)
  • Quiet hours, cooldowns, rate-limit waits, SMTP on stop
  • Settings → Cache: edit JSON tables, repair, Download support zip

Still rough edges (see logs when filing issues): Jikan 504s, Seerr misses on typo titles, Jellyfin title mismatches (Re:ZERO, some long names).

Build / publish

On the NAS, from the clone used by publish.sh:

Do not commit Widevine keys, SMTP passwords, or etp_rt.
